Christopher A. Hinton, PhD, MBA, is a distinguished educator, dedicated leader, and community advocate whose journey is defined by a passion for empowering others through education, leadership development, and meaningful service. As a Professor in the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Christopher brings his expertise in business strategy, human resource management, and leadership development into the classroom, preparing the next generation of business professionals for leadership roles in a dynamic global economy.

Christopher holds a PhD in Global Leadership. His dissertation, "Leading the Future: A Phenomenological Study Exploring the Lived Experiences of Generation Z Black Professionals in HBCU Student Affairs Leadership," illuminates the challenges and aspirations of young Black professionals in leadership roles at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Through this research, Christopher continually contributes valuable insights to leadership studies and advocates for systemic improvements to support emerging leaders.

Beyond academia, Christopher serves as the immediate past President of the Delta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., in Winston-Salem, where he champions the fraternity’s principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. His leadership has driven impactful community initiatives, educational programs, and charitable contributions. As a Chaplain for the Winston-Salem Fire Department, Christopher provides spiritual guidance and emotional support, earning the trust and respect of those he serves.
